At Merinda State School education involves the school community working in partnership, to develop the full potential of each child in a warm, caring, personal environment.
Merinda State School is a well-resourced school. Each of our classes has a highly skilled teacher aide. The maths, language, science and arts resources are extensive and a beautiful library was built via the Building Education Revolution program. Our large grounds include a junior playground, a soccer oval, a cricket oval, a volleyball court and tennis courts,
Our hard working Parents and Citizens Association runs our tuckshop each Tuesday to help subsidise excursions and camps, and assists with the purchase of curriculum resources. They also provide cuppas for parents and carers before the start of each of our school parades which are normally held on Fridays.
